This data protection notice informs you about the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) within our online offering. For a better overview, we have formed individual processing groups.

Provision of data by users

In principle, there is no obligation to actually provide the data that we ask you to provide on our website. However, please bear in mind that if you do not do so, you will not be able to use all functions and services.

No processing of sensitive data

We do not process any special categories of data within the meaning of Art. 9 para. 1 GDPR. We do not process data relating to criminal convictions and offenses within the meaning of Art. 10 GDPR.

No profiling

We do not carry out automated decisions in individual cases, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 para. 1 GDPR.

Analysis tools

This website uses the WP Statistics plug-in from VeronaLabs, Tornimäe 5, 10145, Tallinn, Estonia, to statistically analyze visitor access. Your IP address is only stored in anonymized form, so it is not possible to identify a visitor.

Log files

This website and the associated provider automatically collect information in the course of website use and store it in log files.

This data cannot be assigned by us to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.

Collection of access data

We process the Internet address (IP address) of the requesting computer together with the date and time of the request, which file is requested, the amount of data transferred, a message as to whether the request was successful, identification data of the browser and operating system used, as well as the website from which the file was accessed (if the access was made via a link).

Legal basis and purposes of data processing

We process this data on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) for the following purposes

– Provision of our online offering, its content and functions

– Creation of usage statistics

– Improvement of our offer and our website

– Review of system security

– Detection, prevention and investigation of attacks

Storage duration of log files

We store this data for a maximum period of six months.

Data whose further storage is required for evidence purposes is excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.

You can send us inquiries via our website using the online form or email.

Collection of data

We process the information that you yourself provide by completing the online form or in the e-mail. The following types of data are involved in the online form:

Storage period

This data will be deleted by us after one year, unless a contractual relationship arises. You also have the option of requesting deletion from us at any time.

Service management tool

Access to our service management tool “S.Mon” via the “Support” link is only possible for existing customers with a valid maintenance contract. The relevant data protection information is communicated to customers as part of the maintenance contract.

Use of cookies

We use so-called “cookies”. These are pieces of information that are transferred from a web server to a user’s web browser and stored there for later retrieval. Cookies can be small text files or other types of information storage.

The main purpose of cookies is to provide an offer tailored specifically to the user in order to make the use of the services as convenient as possible.

Social media

We maintain publicly accessible profiles on the following social networks Facebook, LinkedIn and X. No personal data is transferred before you click on a link. When you click on a link, personal data may be transferred to a third country, the USA. This is based on the legal basis of the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing as well as the risk of varying likelihood and severity for the rights and freedoms of natural persons, in order to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.

The measures include, in particular, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of the systems and services in connection with the processing. Measures taken include, for example, controlling physical access to the data, as well as access, input, disclosure, ensuring availability and separation.

We have also set up procedures to ensure that the rights of data subjects are exercised, data is deleted and we respond to data threats. Furthermore, we take the protection of personal data into account as early as the development or selection of hardware, software and procedures, in accordance with the principle of data protection through technology design and data protection-friendly default settings (Art. 25 GDPR).

The security measures include, in particular, the encrypted transmission of data between your browser and our servers.

Your rights

In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection.
